Sunday, November 28th, 201030 Characters in 30 days #5 Commodroid (Commo D)
Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010Robots from the future created these new creatures in the form of the obsolete computers of the past. This one is based on the old Bread bin styled Commodore C64. Retro fitted with 2 laser light guns, was this a good move…..?
This is just an ongoing test of these Retro Computer/Robot designs. Trying to create as many as possible within the 30 day challenge.
30 Characters in 30 days #4 Mega D (Droid)
Monday, November 15th, 2010Im soooo far behind in the 30d30c challenge, I’ve had no internet for the past few days, and I’m sticking with this excuse
It’s no excuse really I’m just slow at making these robots, I have several Ideas for these characters but they are proving to be very hard to finish off, I’ll try to make as many as I can in the 30 days. Here is the latest Mega D (MegaDroid).
The 30 Characters in 30 Days challenge 2010
Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010This my first of 30 characters for the annual 30 characters in 30 days challenge.
Created by the cutting edge machines of the future, as a nostalgic nod to the Computers of the past, this psychotic robot has the split personality within his retro exterior. His plastic overlay shows a happy creature. This overlay hides Victor’s darker side, Victor’s “Vector X…..!!!1!!!!!”
This was created using Inkscape the fantastic and still FREE Adobe Illustrator alternative. This is still a work in progress, the final version will be a lot crisper, he just took far too long to create.
ZED HEX v1.0 (Spectrum Vector Final)
Thursday, February 11th, 2010Maniacal Obsolete 8-Bit Retro Robot
Created from the discarded refuge of the 1980′s, ZED HEX leads other obsolete retro robots in a revolt against the more cutting edge/bleeding edge/state of the art robots and computers.
This was drawn in inkscape, a free Vector art program, similar to Adobe illustrator, but FREE
Available as T-Shirts, Posters, Badges, Hats, Mugs from these reputable establishments:-
